Chart notes
TWELVE STARS was reserved just off the leaders early, moved three-wide through the second turn, reached the fore with a furlong to run and drew off. PERFECTLY PROUD was slow to begin, moved six-wide through the second turn and rallied late. ROPERS N WRANGLERS was reserved just off the leaders from between foes, drifted inward to bump NIGHT MIST nearing the sixteenth pole and finished with a steady bid. NIGHT MIST settled off the leaders early, saved ground through the second turn, angled out in mid-stretch, bumped with ROPERS N WRANGLERS nearing the sixteenth pole and finished willingly when clear. KEBA LUCKY DAY was away in good order to set a pressured pace from the inside and weakened after going three-quarters. KEEP IT ROLLIN was void of early speed, raced seven-wide through the second turn, angled in with a furlong to run and failed to rally. MIDNIGHT DARE was void of early speed, raced off the rail through the second turn and did not offer a bid. BALAS was forwardly placed early, moved four-wide through the second turn and weakended. FACE OF GRACE chased the leaders while racing three-wide and weakened after going a half. THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY CONCERNING THE BUMPING BETWEEN ROPERS N WRANGLERS AT THE SIXTEENTH POLE AND AFTER REVIEWING THE FILMS CONCLUDED THAT ROPERS N WRANGLERS HAD DRIFTED IN AND CAUSED THE INFRACTION AND WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM THIRD AND PLACED FOURTH.
