Chart notes
RIVER CROSROAD RVF raced with the pace inside and dueled from the three eighths pole to put Nico away into the far turn, ran at the rail through the turn and was steadily handled down the lane. TRIPLE BAD saved ground racing well off the pace, started a bid toward the three eighths pole, ran at the rail on the far turn and took second past the eighth pole. SPUNMAN raced well off the pace and off the rail, bid nearing the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn about the three path then dueled through the stretch for third. HAPPY CHARLIE settled well off the pace inside the opening turn, bid into the backstretch, ran at the rail on the far turn then outfinished for third the final furlong. NICO took over while tapering in and set the early pace at even terms two deep, dueled from the three eighths pole but dropped back into the far turn and weakened the final furlong.
