Chart notes
IRISH RIVIERA trailed early, advanced inside to the stretch, angled out then surged past the dueling pacesetters in the final furlong. BRILLIANT CHASE broke sluggishly, rushed up inside, dueled throughout and continued gamely for the place. ALFATEI alternated for the lead outside then weakened slightly late. PATEGORY ONE stalked the dueling leaders three wide then began fading on the turn. LITTLE HARBOUR dropped back outside, raced very wide and gave way. THE BIG BLUFF chased within range outside and steadily faded.
