Chart notes
SIR ROCKPORT chased the early pace and made a four wide bid on the turn to take over by the quarter pole, then drew clear in the drive to prove best under a drive. SCOTTSDALE set a pressured pace while two wide and kept on to stay for the place award. THE GREAT CASBY was allowed to settle while four wide, came six wide into the drive and had a late rally. SURE WOULD FOREST tracked the pace three to four wide and had no kick in the lane. NEVERLOOKBACK pressed the pace on the inside and faded. FOR THE MOMENT was reluctant to load, chased the pace from the inside, eased off the inside on the turn and was five wide by the quarter pole while making a bid but came up empty in the final furlong.
