Chart notes
MORGAN POINT was rated between foes tracking just behind the pacesetter racing to the turn, was urged to split foes racing past the quarter mile marker to gain terms with the pacesetter challenging for command, lugged inwards under pressure racing into the stretch, came under correction by his rider through the closing stages but narrowly prevailed under firm handling. SUE'S SHOES ducked out at the start, was quickly righted, then urged to a clear advantage while angling to the inside in the opening stages, dictated the pace on a narrow advantage just off the rail racing to the turn, was carried inwards a bit disputing the issue inside a rival racing into upper stretch and contested the issue gamely to the end while racing in close quarters. VIVA VICTORY was rated just off the pacesetter three deep between foes in the opening stages, was urged to press the issue in that path racing into the turn, couldn't match the top pair racing into upper stretch and gave way while prevailing for a share. KWAI CHANG was rated just off the pacesetter tracking that rival along the rail into the turn and faded into upper stretch. MY WAY OR NO WAY tracked the pacesetter four wide in early stages under light rating, was urged to make some brief progress in that path approaching upper stretch but flattened out entering the lane.
