Chart notes
MAJOR GRIFFIN pressed the pace, took the advantage around the second turn, dueled down the stretch and held off a late challenge by LUCK OF THE STARS, for the win. LUCK OF THE STARS raced within contention, moved up on the outside around the final turn, rallied down the lane, was outfinished for the win, but proved best of others. FREED showed early speed, saved ground around the final turn and lacked a finish. BOSTON BUSTER lacked early speed, improved position, but was no factor. VERDUNVILLE always raced near the back and showed little. MY LITTLE LEO raced near the middle of the field, came around the first turn on the outside, faded and was no threat late.
