Chart notes
NAVY SWORD settled just off the pace in the two and three paths, bid nearing the five sixteenths pole and entered the far turn off the rail, angled to the six path toward the head of the lane and dug in to get up the final yards. BOUNDTOBEBAD raced with the early pace two deep then stalked into the first turn, drew to even terms into the backstretch and dueled from that point, contested the edge still two deep on the far turn, dug in under steady encouragement leaving the turn but relented the final yards. MOONLIT SHADOW took the lead into the first turn, was met into the backstretch and dueled from that point, raced close at the rail on the far turn but flattened the final sixteenth. DOOR BUSTER settled off the early pace in the three path then raced outside into the backstretch, bid past the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn in the five path and finished evenly. JAMESTOWN ROAD rounded the first turn about the three path and stalked into the backstretch, bid toward the three eighths pole, ran in the three path of the far turn and showed little further. MISS SPRINKLES showed little response.
