Chart notes
PIPES AND DRUMS raced within contention, came around the second turn on the outside, dueled down the lane with MISCHIEF'S MACHINE and prevailed for the win. MISCHIEF'S MACHINE challenged for the early advantage, forward throughout, dueled down the home stretch, was outfinished for the win, but held on for second. FLYING HONEYPOT raced within striking distance, had an outside trip, made a late bid and finished willingly. LOUISIANA HERO was taken back at the start, racing in the rear, made a steady gain and was outfinished for second. CONATIVE lacked early speed, entered the home stretch wide, moved up, but was no factor. LIKEN IT was hard to load, vied for the early lead and faded. PAT'S KARMA lacked early speed and was never a threat.
