Chart notes
GRANADA FLAVOR tracked four wide around both turns, rallied steadily in the drive, headed the runner-up with a sixteenth remaining and drove clear. FUNKENSTEIN took control early from inside, padded the lead around the far turn, remained unchallenged into the furlong grounds, then was collared at the sixteenth pole and could not offer any resistance to the winner. STRAUS'S PLACE chased in the two path to the stretch and lacked a bid in the final furlong. VERRAGIO stalked three wide through both turns, chased between in upper stretch and weakened. DADDYS SPECIALDARK was a bit rank prior to the first turn, tracked two wide around that bend then moved inside, saved ground to the stretch and was not a factor.
