Chart notes
DELBERT TOO raced in mid pack early, raced along the inside though the stretch, was bumped late, kept on and was best. TUCUM set a pressured pace, raced off the rail into the turn, drifted out and drifted in and was disqualified and place third. EVACUEE was unhurried early, went four wide into the turn, was gaining through the stretch, angled in, was bumped and paced second. ON A WARPATH was up close early, raced seven wide and weakened late. STORMIN FAST tracked the early pace, raced six wide and was empty. WEST DAWN was void of speed, raced nine wide and had no rally. IZERIGHT was void of any early speed and was no threat. STORM BAYOU pressed the early pace, raced five wide and tired. JET N G was taken back and was no factor. THE STEWARDS POSTED AND INQUIRY INTO THE STRETCH RUN AND DISQUALIFIED NUMBER ONE TUCUM AND PLACED HIM THIRD.
