Chart notes
OHIO CAUSE stalked the pace through the turn, dug in under a hand ride in the five path late and got up in the final strides. FOREIGN sprinted to the lead soon after the start, set the early pace under pressure, shook clear on the turn, maintained his advantage until deep stretch then couldn't handle the winner. ELLADA PINOT pressed the pace two wide into the stretch and faded late. SPLIT MY BRITCHES swung wide and passed tiring rivals. SOMETHING SACRED was no factor. KETTLE KING was no threat. MR CHIPS well placed, failed to respond. DYNAMITE CLOUD had good early speed then faded. DAVIS HAT was a forward factor along the inside through the turn then through after a half.
