Chart notes
FLATTERING RUBY prompted the early pace and made a three wide bid on the turn and drew clear, then was shown the whip and ridden out to prove best. TANYA'S GEM tracked the early pace three to four wide, then was gaining late to be clearly second best. TIMELY TRADITION chased the early pace from between horses and came five wide into the drive and had a mild rally. LADY MUNNINGS set the early pace and was headed at the three eighths pole and weakened. S W BRIAR ROSE checked on the inside around the nine sixteenths, then shifted out and was five wide on the turn and offered no rally. LOVELY LYDIA was settled while four wide and lacked a rally. PARTY AT PAGE'S chased the early pace on the inside and weakened.
