Chart notes
MR. ARTISTIC pressed the pace while racing outside, assumed command and drew away on the turn for a clear lead and held well under mild urging. SON OF SMALLS bumped at the start, raced close to the pace along the inside, shifted out entering the turn, fell back, went five wide at the top of the stretch and closed well. BRON AND THE BROW vied to the turn, fell back, finished evenly and held safely for show. MYBESTISYETTOCOME bumped at the start, showed good early speed while racing between horses, dropped back and lacked a stretch response. MR PHOENIX pressed the pace to the turn and gave way. SCRATCH ME was not a factor. TRINNI VALANTINE led early, stopped, was eased and walked off.
