Chart notes
ETERNAL ENDEAVOUR (GB) went to the front, drove clear, led throughout, pulled away down the stretch and won handily. MOORAC raced within contention in the early part, forwardly placed throughout and followed the winner to the wire. OH MY OH raced in the middle of the field, saved ground around the second turn, made a mild bid and proved no match for the top two. FRIENDLY AND KIND lacked early speed, came around the second turn wide, showed late interest, but was no factor. NANA'S JOY raced in the back of the pack, improved position, but was no threat. ANGEL'S CUT pressed the pace, raced outside around the first turn and faded. MATAPAN void of early speed and was never close. C C'S BABY GIRL showed early speed and dropped back.
