Chart notes
KING CAB broke out bumping GLOUCESTER into GOLD SPECIAL, sped clear early off the rail, sailed along unbothered to the stretch, and widened while on his left lead and kept busy. THE SKIPPER TOO was outsprinted early inside, hugged the rail beginning to get going approaching the quarter-pole, and was up on the fence for second. CLAPTON chased the winner three wide to the stretch, and had no rally. BIRD WILDCAT steadied early between horses, swung four wide approaching the stretch, and weakened through the final furlong. GOLD SPECIAL got bumped by GLOUCESTER at the break, and was always outrun. GLOUCESTER got hip-checked into GOLD SPECIAL by KING CAB at the break, chased the latter for three furlongs and had nothing left after that.
