Chart notes
I CAN RUN stalked the pace while three deep around the turn, closed the final sixteenth of a mile and was up approaching the finish. QUEEN CADENCE set the pace near the inner rail, was still clear at the sixteenth pole and gave way grudgingly. JUSTHAPPY , in the two path around the turn, chased the pace and flattened out. DAILY PLANET , four deep around the turn, weakened through the stretch. PELLETIER saved ground around the turn, remained along the rail in the stretch and retreated. SALAGADOOLA raced in the two path on the turn and trailed.
