Chart notes
CHOP CHOP CHARLIE stalked the leaders in the early part, moved up down the backside, raced outside around the final turn, took command and was going away at the end. HUMPHREY vied for the early lead, took the advantage, saved ground, proved no match for the winner late, but was a clear second. SUCH challenged on the front end, weakened around the second turn and lacked a late kick. OCTOBER SURPRISE pressed the early pace, came around the second turn on the outside and faded. APPLEWOOD void of early speed, had an outside trip and was never a factor. TAKEN BACK void of early speed and was never close. HOODOO BROWN raced within contention and dropped back. WAR ROGUE had an awkward start, lost rider and walked off. A STEWARDS INQUIRY WAS CALLED INTO THE START OF THE RACE. AFTER VIEWING REPLAYS NO ACTION WAS TAKEN.
