Chart notes
CRASH CORRIGAN got crowded between rivals early, steered to the inside, sat off the pace up the backstretch, went two wide into the lane, rallied inside HAIL FREEDOM late and overhauled the runner-up. HAIL FREEDOM pressed the pace from outside early, took a short lead midway around the bend, cleared in upper stretch but got overhauled by the winner. JAZZ HANDS had a shoe repair prior to the start, broke slow, got bumped hard from outside on the dirt crossing, traveled along the rail into the turn, swung out into the lane, raced eight wide in the stretch and got up for the show. BANG FOR YOUR BUCK was reserved in the early going and steered inward, traveled three then four wide around the bend, angled out in upper stretch and produced a mild rally. BRIX chased on the inside then two wide into the stretch, was in the hunt in the lane could not find more in the late stages. FLY TO MARS broke slow and got crowded at the start, steered down to the inside, saved ground through the turn, tipped out in the stretch and improved position. CHARGE CASH attended the pace three deep up the backstretch, chased the top pair four wide leaving the turn and weakened. IF ID TOLD YOU raced in mid-pack up the backstretch outside a rival, went two then three wide on the turn and could not rally. MIDNIGHT SPECIAL tracked the pace from off the rail, navigated the turn three then four wide and weakened. LIKE THE WIND broke slow then went up to take control from inside, set the pace under pressure to the turn, lost command midway around the bend, fought back to the stretch and gave way. DR. TROUTMAN tracked outside rivals early on, went four wide into the turn, drifted six wide leaving the bend and could not rally. DISCRETIONARY DAY was off slow to begin, jumped the track and came in to bumped hard with a rival early, was eased around the turn, pulled up midstretch and walked off.
