Chart notes
DREAMING OF CARATS sprinted to the early lead, was taken to the inner rail on the first turn, set the pace along the rail, drew off through the stretch under steady urging and drifted out in the drive. ROCKIN RON stalked the pace slightly off the inner rail, eased out to the three path in upper stretch and flattened out. TINY TIN lacked speed, raced along the inner rail, eased out to the two path approaching the sixteenth pole and passed tired foes. BOONDOGGLE prompted the pace outside the winner and tired. CAMP PENDLETON , used four deep entering the first turn, raced within striking distance down the backstretch and weakened in the stretch. ARTILLERY was outrun. LINNS BOY , outrun, was eased in the stretch.
