Chart notes

CREEKMORE broke readily, was urged clear inside foes in the opening stages, shifted off the rail nearing upper stretch dictating the pace on a comfortable advantage and held sway to the end under right handed encouragement. NATIVE HAWK broke readily, tracked just off the pacesetter three wide between foes in second flight racing into the turn, couldn't gain terms with the winner but prevailed for the place honors between foes nearing the wire. CODETOWIN tracked off the second flight five wide in the opening stages, steadily gained position four wide through the turn but was outkicked for second. ROARING RIVER angled to the inside early racing just off the second flight, saved ground to the lane while continuing in pursuit of the winner to midstretch but flattened out late. TONY SMALL tracked off the second flight between foes in early stages, shifted to the inside on the turn but had no rally. SMART N INTUITIVE, taken up after the start when caught in close quarters early, never gained striking distance. NEWYEARSBLOCKPARTY flashed brief pace between foes racing to the turn and faded after a half.
