Chart notes
CHIEF CHARLIE reserved in the early going, moved up around the second turn, waited, found running room, rallied down the lane and was going away at the end. SHADY GRADY went to the front, drove clear, proved no match late for the winner, but was a clear second. MORO PHAROAH raced within striking distance, had an outside trip and proved no match for the top two. GENERAL EISENHOWER raced within contention, weakened, finished evenly and lacked a bid. MY BOY SAM pressed the early pace and faded. PRIORITY POINTS lacked early speed and passed tired ones. MACHO BOB vied for the early lead and dropped back. MAJOR FREAK raced near the back and showed little. BIT PART always raced near the back, had a wide trip and was outrun.
