Chart notes
BRONX dueled inside of CHROME FINISH, kicked clear in upper stretch and held clear while ridden out. SIXTY ONE was pinched back at the start, trailed inside early, advanced along the rail around the turn and finished well to be clearly second best. CHROME FINISH dueled outside of the winner for a half and weakened in the drive. COMMITTEEMAN stalked the pace three wide and came up empty in the lane. MR. COOL was bumped on both sides at the start, saved ground off the pace, angled out in upper stretch and never threatened. NAVY PIER broke a bit awkwardly then bumped with SIXTY ONE just after the start, raced off the pace four wide and played no further factor. KING TARZAN broke in and bumped MR. COOL into SIXTY ONE, chased the pace two wide, angled four wide nearing the quarter pole and retreated through the lane.
