Chart notes
COWBOY AT HEART pressured the pace inside, took the lead at the rail approaching the quarter pole, raced clear into the stretch and held well under steady handling. FIBER STRONG chased early then steadied off the heels of Hopping Henry at the three eighths pole, raced close at the rail on the turn then dug in through the stretch to hold second. DERBY DAY DREAMS gave chase, ran in the four and five paths of the turn, finished well to take third later yards and was gaining on the runner-up. HOPPING HENRY set a pressured pace off the rail, was caught nearing the quarter pole, gave close chase in the three path of the turn but drifted toward the head of the lane and flattened the final sixteenth. REMYS SHOWTIME chased, ran in the six path of the turn then closed the gap widest. ARE YOU HAPPY was slow getting into stride then saved ground. ROCKET SOUND gave chase outside and rounded the turn about the five path. CHAINSAW AL gave chase toward mid track then faded into the turn.
