CAIRO CALLING dueled for the lead leaving the chute then rated the pace, came under pressure at the quarter pole, raced near the rail on the turn, was kept alert to late stretch then taken in hand nearing the wire. CAJUN INVASION gave chase, ran at the rail on the turn and had to settle for second best. UOTTALIKEIT engaged in close early chase, rounded the turn off the rail then flattened inside the eighth pole. GOLDEN HUGHES gave chase, rounded the turn about the four path and passed rivals in an even finish. CITIZEN'S FIRE gave distant early chase, raced well off the rail on the turn and passed rivals outside.
