Chart notes
PLAY MO broke in, pressed the pace, came around the final turn three wide, drove clear and finished well. KING OF CONTRABAND unhurried in the beginning, made a steady gain, saved ground around the second turn, made a wide bid and proved best of others. BIG ACE went to the front, saved ground, ducked in, hit rail down the final stretch, recovered and held on for third. PAPIRINGO had a tight start, steadied, raced in the back, came around both turns on the outside, made a mild bid, but was no factor. AS THUNDER HEART pressed the early pace and faded. ORPHAN CREEK raced near the middle of the field, came around the first turn wide, finished wide and was no threat. R T'S IRON MAN had a tight start, raced in the back and showed little. A STEWARDS INQUIRY WAS CALLED INTO THE RUNNING OF THE RACE. AFTER VIEWING REPLAYS NO ACTION WAS TAKEN.
