VENTURE ON a step slow early lagged through the turn racing inside to upper stretch giving steady surge from the eighth pole arriving in time. RUN ROCKY pressed the pace wresting a clear lead on the turn drawing off in upper stretch before becoming leg weary late being run down at the end. VOLUME LEADER pressed then chased on the turn, became weary in upper stretch drifting out while holding on to position late. BILLY BEACOUP in tight near the half mile pole would play no factor. TURBO POWER flashed early speed then faded on the turn. REACHING FOR GOLD dropped far back early. ADMIRAL GLEN hard early speed then weakened on the turn giving way to upper stretch.
