Chart notes
BRILLIANT BROOKS bumped with a rival at the start, tracked the pace on the outside, passed the half-mile pole under urging, chased in the three path on the turn, gained under a drive into upper stretch, took over at the three-sixteenths and drew clear under strong urging. ALCOOLS chased the pace down the backstretch, saved ground on the turn, moved out under a drive in upper stretch and safely secured the place while no match for the winner. MOUNT TRAVERS settled towards the back, saved ground under urging on the turn, turned into the stretch in the two path and lacked the needed response while best of the rest. MONTAUK DADDY broke out and bumped with an opponent, went to the front, extended the lead with a half-mile to run, controlled the action in the two path around the turn, was headed by the winner in upper stretch and weakened. EUCHARIST broke out at the start, settled at the rear of the field, moved out near the nine-sixteenths, was urged five wide on the turn and failed to respond. MI TRES POR CIENTO (CHI) bumped with foes on both sides at the start, settled under some urging, came under stronger encouragement in the three path on the turn and also failed to respond.
