Chart notes
AIN'T STRAIGHT never far back, closed willingly four wide through the turn, made the lead in deep stretch under left handed urging and drew clear. GOOD IDEA pressed the pace three wide, made the lead at the top of the stretch then couldn't handle the winner. STEINBECK never far back, improved position along the rail into the stretch. EMPEROROFTHEDARK made the lead soon after the start, set a pressured pace to the top of the stretch then weakened. GOODBYELLOWBRICKRD pressed the pace two wide into the stretch then weakened. BUNDLEDLIKE BERNIE was no factor. RED HOT POWER had brief speed.
