LOCAL MOTIVE , in the two path between horses for five furlongs, gained the lead outside PERFECT DAY near the quarter pole, opened up in mid stretch and held sway under steady handling. MAJESTIC FRONTIER hugged the inner rail around the turn, angled out in upper stretch, bumped with PERFECT DAY near the eighth pole, raced on her left lead, lugged in near the sixteenth pole and rallied. HEFFNER , rated behind horses down the backstretch, swung to the five path in upper stretch and passed tired rivals. PERFECT DAY set the pace along the inner rail, lost the advantage in upper stretch, gave way and bumped with MAJESTIC FRONTIER near the eighth pole. MAXIMUM IMPACT , outrun, was fanned six deep in upper stretch. CONCLUSIVE , three deep chasing the pace around the turn and faltered leaving the turn.
