Chart notes
CHARGE CASH sped to the front, showed the way in the two path through the turn and stayed clear to the wire. HEARTFULLOFSTARS tracked the pace from off the rail, went three wide into the turn then angled to the inside around the bend, tipped out at the top of the stretch and rallied to earn the place. BLACK STORM lost his path and steadied early, angled to the inside, saved ground through the turn and got edged for second. BEAR CHUM (AUS) stumbled leaving the gate, traveled in ranged early on, went four then three wide on the bend, gave chase through the drive but could not summon the needed late kick. TEMBO was off slow to begin, sat off the pace widest up the backstretch, took the turn five then four wide and kept on four deep to the wire. BUTTERED NOODLES chased inside the leader then angled out on the backstretch, went three wide into the turn, checked between rivals at the quarter pole, eased outside at the three-sixteenth pole and faded.
