BLACKSMITH STRONG good position to backstretch, rushed to far turn, cleared late and lasted under strong handling. SCHENECTADY STAR raced back to far turn, rallied into the stretch four wide for the place spot. ORDER OF THE DAY bounced around at the start, good position early, dueled, to the stretch but used up late. CODE CLEAR impeded into first turn, dropped far back and steadily handled to rallied late and improved. TRUE DAKOTAN bad step first turn, causing mayhem to several and only improved position thereafter. SEA LANE inside speed, pressed leader to quarter pole but gave way readily. BET YOUR LIFE reluctant to load, off slow from gate and never menaced. BAD GUS bothered first turn and never recovered while far back. LOCKDOWN LOVER set pace to the half but gave way from the far turn.
