Chart notes
FEISTY AND SASSY stalked the early pace from the two and three paths, took the lead nearing the seven sixteenths pole and dueled clear toward the quarter pole, rounded the far turn at the rail and was steadily handled to hold on. SONDE ST BLUES stalked the pace off the rail, picked up the chase toward the seven sixteenths pole, steadied lightly between horses leaving the five sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn in the three path and was gaining slowly late. NAUTICAL WARRIOR raced off the pace in the three and four paths, gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole, ran in the four path of the far turn then dueled through the stretch for third. CHESTNUT LIME saved ground just off the pace, started a bid nearing the three eighths pole, ran off the rail on the far turn and was outfinished in the stretch duel for third. HARD BEING ME saved ground and could only improve his position. NAZCA MYSTERY took the lead nearing the three quarter pole then angled to the rail to rate the pace, was met toward the seven sixteenths pole, gave chase from that point but weakened at the rail approaching the top of the stretch. The Stewards reviewed claims of foul against the rider of Feisty And Sassy, lodged by the riders of Nautical Warrior and Sonde St Blues, though, found no action necessary.
