Chart notes
CHIEFS KINGDOM gave chase and raced at a close disadvantage two deep on the turn, took the lead past the eighth pole, ran clear mid-stretch and held on well with steady handling. GOOD KARMA rated the pace past the half mile pole, came under pressure at the five sixteenths, contested the advantage nearest the rail on the turn, was met leaving the eighth pole and relented the final sixteenth. SHERWOOD LADY gave chase, raced close in the three path of the turn and finished well while gaining on the runner-up. AT THE HALF gave chase, rounded the turn about the four path and ran evenly in the lane. COACH RUBE gave chase, raced near the rail on the turn and ran evenly through the stretch. COUNTRY MAGIC chased, ran two deep on the turn and showed little in the lane. SECRET CASTLE gave chase inside, ran at the rail on the turn then weakened.
