Chart notes
LIKE SEGAL settled off the pace in the four and five paths the first turn, picked up the chase into the backstretch, took the lead two deep at the quarter pole, was steadily handled to widen to deep stretch then taken in hand later yards. MIDNIGHT SHIFT rated off the pace about the three path on the first turn, started a bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole, improved off the rail on the far turn then dueled through the final sixteenth for second. ELVIRUS stalked in the three path then challenged at the three eighths pole and took over past the pole, was caught into the far turn then weakened inside the eighth pole. HAPPY CHARLIE was shuffled back early then saved ground well off the pace, gave chase leaving the first turn, ran in the four path of the far turn and showed little further. SUTTON VALLEY rated a short lead inside, was caught and gave chase past the three eighths pole but weakened into the far turn. CITIZEN'S FIRE saved ground and showed little response. HELLO CARLO stalked inside on the opening turn then faded through the backstretch.
