Chart notes
SPEEDY DANSMERE vied for the early lead from the inside and drove clear in the final stages. DANCE FOR RANSOM was hustled early on, raced four wide in the lane and got up for the place position late. SEELEY dropped back early, moved up five wide near the eighth pole, raced in tight quarters near the sixteenth pole and gained ground late. SWISS MINISTER hesitated at the break, moved three to two wide in the drive and showed late interest. PIERPONT pressed the pace from the outside and weakened in the drive. SAMURAI MIKE was slow early, raced four wide and had no response. CREAKY CRICKET was sent along to lay up close and weakened. HORSE FLY went to his nose at the break and trailed throughout.
