Chart notes
ARCH PRINCE stalked the pace while saving ground to the second turn, was steered three wide nearing the quarter-marker then angled out to be widest of the field into the stretch drive, was firmly urged into the final sixteenth and was up just in time to prevail. KNOWN settled off of the pace while outside of rivals, gained ground while four wide on the second turn, took command into the final furlong and was tagged in the final strides by ARCH PRINCE while holding for the place. MAXINAMILLION stalked the early pace from the midflight, gained ground while three wide on the second turn, vied for the lead approaching the furlong grounds and was outkicked in the stretch run. COOLCROSS stalked the pace from a two wide path to the second turn, lost ground nearing the furlong marker and was outfinished in the late stages. HONG KONG COWBOY was away alertly and set the fractions from an inside path through the second turn, came under pressure in upper stretch and gave way in the late going.
