Chart notes
ROCCO STRONG bumped with a rival at the start, was well placed just off the pace, moved up to attend the pace with five furlongs to run, vied between foes in the two to three path on the turn, kicked clear into upper stretch, responded well under a drive in the final furlong and held under strong urging. PERCEIVED settled just off the pace, was roused while saving ground on the turn, chased the winner under a drive into the final furlong, gained along the rail into the final sixteenth and finished willingly for the place. GROUP HUG dropped back while lacking speed then moved in, raced inside to the two path on the turn, gained in the final furlong, split foes into the final sixteenth and improved for the show. DANGEROUS EDGE settled on the outside, was urged four wide on the turn, moved out in upper stretch and lacked the needed response. EXTREME went to the front, showed the way down the backstretch, vied inside on the turn, was headed near the five-sixteenths, dropped back while moving out into upper stretch and tired. BLAKE B. tracked the pace on the outside, moved up to make a bid with five furlongs to run, chased four wide on the turn and came up empty. ROCK SUGAR bumped with a rival at the start, was urged along off the pace, dropped back in the two path on the turn and failed to rally. PIER FORTY settled between horses, was urged three then four wide on the turn, dropped back five wide into the stretch and failed to respond. BLU GROTTO dropped well behind while showing no speed under urging, went four then five wide on the turn, came seven wide into the stretch and was no factor.
