Chart notes
NICO gave chase and took the lead two deep midway on the turn, ran clear nearing the head of the lane and drew off with a hand ride. FIBER STRONG gave chase, rounded the turn about the three path and dug in to take second inside the sixteenth pole. SHAMELESS RISK gave chase off the rail, came through the turn mostly in the three path, angled to the five path approaching the top of the stretch, drifted a bit wider leaving the turn and was outfinished in the stretch duel for second. DERBY DAY DREAMS gave chase toward the outside, rounded the turn about the five path, was carried wider into the stretch and passed rivals outside. DREAM OF WARRIOR broke to a clear lead and angled in to set the early pace, was caught at the rail midway on the turn then weakened in the stretch. HOPPING HENRY chased inside, ran at the rail on the turn then weakened.
