Chart notes
NO CHANGE settled off the pace inside on the first turn, bid leaving the seven sxiteenths pole and took over past the quarter, ran clear midway through the far turn and was steadily handled in the stretch. BOASTER settled back inside the first turn then eased outward into the backstretch, bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole, steadily progressed in the four path of the far turn and came along for second inside the sixteenth pole. TRINGALE raced with the early pace then took the nod two deep into the first turn and rated a slim lead, dug in to the challenge of Martinkelly past the half mile pole and put that one away, but was caught past the quarter pole, rounded the far turn near the rail then flattened the final furlong. FU MAN SUE raced with the pace through the front stretch but steadied from tight quarters between horses into the first turn and settled off the pace, bid nearing the seven sixteenths pole, though flattened in the three path of the far turn. ROOKIE SALSA settled off the pace and off the rail the first turn, picked up the chase from the seven sixteenths pole, raced near the rail on the far turn and showed little more. MARTINKELLY raced with the pace inside and challenged leaving the half mile pole, dueled close through the backstretch but dropped back into the far turn and faded at the rail. The Stewards reviewed a claim of foul against the rider of Triangle, lodged by the rider of Fu Man Sue, though found no cause for change.
