Chart notes
MY PRETTY EYES was bumped at the break then gave chase, took the lead four wide at the quarter pole, angled to the rail on the turn and was steadily encouraged through the lane. DEEMED ESSENTIAL chased the pace inside but closed to, and checked at the heels of Tiz The Reason past the five sixteenths pole, angled to the four path through the turn and dug in from the top of the stretch to take the nod for second under the wire. GARY DOING BIZ broke outward to make contact with My Pretty Eyes and was jostled a stride later, gave chase through the backstretch, raced close off the rail on the turn, dug in under steady encouragement through the stretch but was nipped from second under the wire. JEANIE'S ANGEL broke outward to make contact with Gary Doing Biz then gave chase, ran in the four and five paths of the turn, dug in through the stretch but flattened the final yards. ADABEL gave chase through the backstretch, raced at the rail into the turn but had to check off the heels of TIZ THE REASON midway through the turn, angled to the outside approaching the head of the lane then flattened stride. The latter engaged in close chase and dueled at even terms leaving the three eighths pole, though faded off the rail on the turn. QUEEN OF KANTHAROS took over at the half mile pole and set the pace, dueled at even terms from the three eighths pole, was caught toward the quarter and weakened at the rail on the turn.
