Chart notes
ALICE MARBLE pressed the pace from between rivals, vied with pairs on both sides through the turn, held a short lead entering the stretch, inched ahead nearing the eighth pole, cleared in midstretch and held the runner-up at bay. STELLA NOIR chased along the inside to the stretch, tipped two wide approaching the eighth pole, then rallied inside the winner in the final sixteenth but was too late. SPIRIT OF BERMUDA (IRE) stalked between foes into and around the turn, continued between foes past the eighth pole and gained the show. DYNASTY OF HER OWN showed early speed, took a bit of an awkward step crossing over the dirt early, set the pace inside a pair of rivals to the turn, vied for command around the bend, lost the lead at the top of the stretch and weakened along the fence. TAPWATER bobbled a bit at the start, stalked three deep to the stretch, tipped out at the top of the lane and could not rally. HEAR MY PRAYER came away well from outside then was rated outside the top pair, vied three deep around the turn and into the stretch, then weakened in the lane.
