Chart notes
TWO PUNCH FIST pressed pace, dueled throughout, veered in final stretch, was all out and just held on. EL CALIENTE LADY dueled on the front end, challenged throughout and just missed. CAJUN ACES vied for the early lead, raced outside around the final turn, was outfinished, but got up for show. L G GIRL lacked early speed, raced outside around the final turn, made a wide bid and was outfinished for third. HIDDEN EXPECTATION void of early speed, showed late interest, but was no factor. HALOS ALARM raced within striking distance, came around the first turn wide, made a late rail bid, checked, getting in tight quarters and was done. CUPIE CUTIE void of early speed and was never close. SPORT PALACE raced near the back and never mounted a bid. GRAND ISLE SUMMER pressed the early pace, had an outside trip and dropped back. A STEWARDS INQUIRY WAS CALLED INTO THE RUNNING OF THE RACE. ALSO THE JOCKEY OF #10 HALOS ALARM LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST #1 TWO PUNCH FIST FOR INTERFERENCE COMING OUT OF THE FINAL TURN. AFTER VIEWING REPLAYS #1 WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM FIRST AND PLACED SIXTH.
