Chart notes
WITT'S TAQUITO was well placed on the backstretch, rallied on the far turn to duel entering the stretch, was brushed by rival but was up for the win. MEAN CANNON broke out at the start, set the pace, was in a long drive, then drifted out mid-stretch and brushed rival but was outfinished in the end. D TOWN BABY settled on the backstretch, then moved up to bid three wide on the far turn to close well in the stretch. AMERICAN MADE chased the pace while four wide, made bid on the far turn but flattened out in the stretch. HUNK OF A HIT chased the pace along the rail, then made a bid on the far turn but weakened in the stretch. PAPA JUSTICE was unhurried early and no factor. TAPIT CITY chased the pace from the inside, was used up after the far turn and failed to menace. There was a STEWARDS INQUIRY concerning the stretch drive, but after reviewing the film, no action was taken.
