Chart notes
SAFE REEZAN chased toward the inside, rounded the turn off the rail, dug in from the head of the lane to take the lead mid-stretch and drew clear later yards. VALID REASON gave chase toward the outside, rounded the turn in the three path, drifted a bit into the stretch, came along for second then swerved outward later yards to avoid a fallen rival. BANTAM ROOSTER gave early chase toward mid track, rounded the turn near the rail and finished evenly in third. PIGEON FORGE gave chase racing wide, rounded the turn in the six and seven paths then passed rivals outside. NOBLE PRESENT gave chase, rounded the turn near the rail and showed little in the lane. BODIE'S STORM gave chase then flattened off the rail on the turn. OUR ELECTRA GUITAR gave chase, rounded the turn about the three path, fell over SUZANNE'S SUGAR in later yards but got up and walked off. The latter accelerated to the lead leaving the chute and set a clear pace inside, rounded the turn at the rail, came under steady encouragement leaving the turn, started to flatten past the eighth pole then fell in later yards, though, got up and walked off. The Stewards reviewed the stretch run of this race.
