Chart notes
SPARKY HALE was settled on the backstretch then rallied four wide on the turn, was in a strong drive and drew off in late stretch. LUCKY'S SPECIAL dueled for the lead while two wide into the turn, was in a long drive then weakened in late stretch and was still second best. TEXAS SKYWALKER was unhurried early while inside, rallied and made a mild rally while three wide in the stretch but was no threat. SPEIGHTSVILLE dueled for the lead while inside, was hard used and gave way in the stretch. TIMED EVENT was unhurried early then was no threat. WEIRD YEAR was three wide and used up then gave way. MALIBU THUNDER raced four wide into the turn and no factor in the stretch.
