Chart notes
ONE SON OF A CHIEF stalked the early pace, made a good rail bid through the stretch and proved best under strong encouragement. BROADWAY ICE was allowed to settle early, moved up five wide through the upper stretch and finished gamely to the wire. PREACHER showed good early speed to set the early pace and weakened a bit in the final stages. FEARLESS WILL pressed the early pace while racing three deep and weakened the final eighth of a mile. ACCOUSTICAL settled off the early pace, raced six wide through the upper stretch and had no late bid. BUBBAS DIXIE was slow early, raced three wide and never was a factor. BURGAMEISTER raced two to three deep and never was a factor. BOW TIE AFFAIR raced near the inside and had no response. ON THE BRIDGE raced far back and never threatened.
