Chart notes
COUVERTURE stalked the top pair down the backstretch, moved up four to five wide and finished well to be clear under strong pressure. GREAT MILLS ROAD lunged at the break, settled off the early pace, moved up three wide in the stretch, lugged in through the stretch and finished willingly to the wire. SUMMEROFTHESAMURAI dueled for the early lead from the inside and weakened a bit the final eighth of a mile. MALIBU ROSE dueled for the early lead, raced two wide and weakened in the drive. SEIZE IT raced five wide near the nine sixteenths pole, settled off the early pace, raced three deep in the lane and had no response. E Z BREEZ was forwardly placed to lay up close early on and tired. LAURA N LUKAS dropped back early on, raced four wide through the far turn and never was a factor. TRULY CLASSIC raced far back and never threatened.
