ALLEN CAN DO IT took the lead past the five eighths pole and rated a slim lead, came under pressure toward the three eighths, contested the advantage at the rail on the far turn, drifted a bit toward the top of the lane but dug in under steady stretch encouragement to hold on. SPUNMAN saved early ground then bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole, advanced five wide on the far turn, dug in to take second mid-stretch and was gaining on the winner. TAPIT TO THE WIRE rounded the opening turn about the three path, bid nearing the three eighths pole and contested at a close disadvantage off the rail on the far turn, drifted toward the head of the lane then ceded second mid-stretch. CANDY INVASION rounded the first turn in the three and four paths, left the turn outside and picked up the chase from the seven sixteenths pole, had range on the leaders in the four path of the far turn, was carried out entering the stretch, though, finished evenly. STRONG HEART stalked off the rail, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole, came through the far turn about the four path then passed rivals widest. MINISTRY OF MAGIC raced in tight at the rail on the first turn then stalked into the backstretch, gave chase nearing the seven sixteenths pole then weakened on the far turn. DR. GRANT stalked the early pace in the three path, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole then weakened near the rail on the far turn.
