Chart notes
THIEF OF HEARTS set the pace in the three path into the turn, met an outer rival's bid at the five sixteenths pole, repelled that foe passing the quarter pole, shook clear in upper stretch, and held sway under driving pressure. JOANIE GAL prompted the pace in the four path around the turn, bid at the five sixteenths pole, but was shrugged off at the quarter pole, then chased the leader through the lane to prove second best. SUPERTALEOFHOUDINI laid close up along the inside into the turn, lost ground position turning for home, but kept on with a rail chase through the late stages to regain show on the wire. STONE ARCH BRIDGE tracked in the two path, then from between horses turning for home, vied with those foes for show through the lane, but was outfinished by an inner rival for that position on the wire. LATTE DOLCE tracked in the five path around the turn, vied for show through the lane, but flattened out late. MOON OVER TUSCANY was outrun.
