Chart notes
COWBOY CHARLIE broke alertly and was sent to the front, was well handled into the turn while being pressed by RHODIUM RUNNER, set fast fractions through the turn, shook free of the pressing rival at the top of the stretch, was kept to task in the late stages and held safely over the oncoming runner-up. HEAVEN SHINES chased the pace to the turn, advanced on the turn while three wide, lost ground into the stretch, was put to steady right-handed urging in the final furlong, closed on COWBOY CHARLIE in the final stages and could not reel him in but was best of the rest in the end. AFFECTIONTO AUTISM was hustled at the break and stalked the quick pace from a ground saving position, advanced along the turn, lost ground into the drive and weakened in the late going. DOUBLE THE GOLD broke in at the start and was off a bit slowly, chased the pace from a three wide path on the turn and tired in the stretch run. RHODIUM RUNNER tracked the early pace then pressed the winner into the turn while prompting fast fractions, gave ground to COWBOY CHARLIE off of the turn and gave way in the late stages.
